Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon is an anime based on the manga created by Naoko Takeuchi
about these magical girls who have the power to transform into pretty sailor suited soldiers.
The story is about a 14 year old girl named Usagi Tsukino, who is a whiny, ditzy crybaby,
who discovers that she is Sailormoon, the defender of the Earth. Later more senshi join her
in the battle. They all have different (yet similar) abilities and are named after the planets in the galaxy.
Their mision is to find the Princess of the Moon and to protect her.

In Japan there were five seasons of Sailormoon: (in order)

  • SailorMoon Super-SMS
  • SailorMoon SuperS-SMSS
  • SailorMoon SailorStars-STARS

They showed the complete 200 episodes of SailorMoon from 1992 up until February of 1997. Also there are 3 movies SMR, SMS, and SMSS, six musicals, and various special episodes.
