Even More About Me
I am a new father
I graduated from the North Hollywood High School Magnet with pretty near 4.0 GPA. I got accepted to UC Berkeley, but decided to go to Pierce Junior College instead. I'm sure Berkeley would have given me a scholarship, but I was young then.

I moved on to CSU Northridge. I got a BA in Biology. Then while waiting on my last few classes, I found I could take just a few more and get a minor in Anthropology. So I did. It was fun, but those last few years started to drag on me. I was working full time, but still graduated with 3.x GPA.

I had been working one horrible telephone customer service job after another until I ended up doing technical support for AT&T WorldNet. It was fun, challenging, and gave me free Internet access at work. I practiced my HTML skills between calls. Then I transferred to help teach new support reps technical skills as well as customer service skills.

Then the results of my test for City employment came back and I was soon working at the Department of Water and Power, using my technical skills for the good of the Retirement Office. I promoted to Human Resources managing the PeopleSoft database and teaching users.

So I am using the skills I gained working to pay for the knowledge I gained going to college. I'm sure I am not alone.

It is not the function of our government to keep the citizen from falling into error it is the function of the citizen to keep the government from falling into error.
