Before there were the Ghostbusters there was a gang of meddling kids solving mysteries. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and their dog, Scooby.

Fred Jones
The leader and main mystery solver. He's level-headed and filled with common sense. However, in each episode he urges the gang to "split up' and comedic horror ensues.

Daphne Blake
Good looking with fashion sense (except for the purple dress she constantly wears). Daphne is the rich debutante who solves mysteries just for the excitement.

Velma Dinkley
The intelligent nerd. Trust her to find the smallest clue--unless she loses her glasses, that is. She's the inventor of scientific gadgets, sort of the "Egon" of the gang.

Norville "Shaggy" Rogers
Tall, scruffy, and always hungry, Shaggy hangs out with the gang for the free food. He would rather stay in the van than solve mysteries, but in every episode he and Scooby manage to get separated from the group.

Scooby Doo
Great Dane and Scaredy Cat. Scooby is Shaggy's inseparable companion. He cowers with fright at the first hint of trouble unless there's a Scooby Snack in it for him. His antics usually uncover the clue needed to solve the mystery, then it's time to hit the nearest pizzeria, ice cream parlor, hot dog stand, hamburger joint,....

Mystery Machine
The big blue flower-covered van is the gang's mobile mystery-solving vehicle. It carries 5 passengers and any reasonable amount of gear. It adds 1D to moves when being chased. It also has a refrigerator full of food and an unlimited supply of Scooby Snacks.
