8.12.02 - Hi, my name is... Turok?
In one of the the strangest promotions of all time, Acclaim is holding a contest to promote the newest addition to the Turok series, Turok: Evolution. Called the "My Name is Turok" campaign, the company will pick 5 winners, each of which will recieve #500 (around $766 US), an X-Box, a copy of every Turok game AND (here comes the "Holy crap that's weird" part) will change their name to "Turok" for one year. Unfortunately, the contest is only open to residents of the UK, but if you do hail from that country you can check out the registration page.
In far more "mundane" news, Capcom has announced two new characters for their up-coming title, Tales of Destiny 2. ToD2 Takes place 20 years after the orginal and stars Kyle Dunamis, the son of ToD protagonist Stahn Dunamis. Character designs for both new characters can be found below, along with a quick description.
 Loni Dunamis grew up with Kyle and protects him like a big brother, despite his own tendancies to act rashly. He's a memeber of "Atamoni God Group", an orginaization that protects people from monsters.
