06 "You Said You Could See Time, But That is Probably Your Life Flashing By"
"Toki ga Mieru to Kimi wa Iu kedo, Tabun Sore wa Sōmatō" (時が見えると君は言うけど、たぶんそれは走馬灯)

Isumi finally get to Nagi's mansion and meet Nagi where Isumi tell her that it's Hayate that brought her here. She warn Nagi of trouble for Hayate. While still worrying about the cashmere coat, Hayate meets the Yakuza again. He then meets Isumi's bodyguards and a figth between all of them and him ensues. Hayate manages to survive that fight and return back to Nagi's mansion, only to be shut out by Nagi after she hear from Isumi how Hayate badly describe her.

Because of staying outside the house with drenched clothes, Hayate fall ill and everyone blames Nagi for that. In order to make it up for Hayate, Nagi decides to cook for him. She manages to make a bowl of porridge for Hayate and it is simply too horrible to be edible. But Hayate still manages to eat it all for Nagi. All Maria can do is to take pity of Hayate. Nagi overhears their conversation and discover how good Hayate is to her. Nagi tries to repay that by trying to give him a kiss but is spotted by Hayate in time. Out of embarrassment, Nagi beat the hell out of him.

Hayate wake up the next morning afresh and fit for duty. He meet a maid along the corridor and wonder who she is. Maria says to leave her alone but he wasn't quite able to do so. Maria did tell him to expect a guest to arrive here. Nagi found out about this and orders the guards to capture them so that she can keep the secret from Hayate. Near the pond, Hayate found the guest. It happens to be a young but bad mannered boy who kick him into the pond just for fun. It did not take long before the maid appear and discover a security robot appearing before them. Believing that a number of them are here to destroy them, Hayate tries to protect them. He manages to do that but land into a guestroom from the roof. Nagi and Maria are there to greet them and this is where Maria told Hayate that the boy is actually Nagi's fiancé.

07 "Man's Fight"
"Otoko no Tatakai" (男の戦い)

Hayate find out why Wataru Tachibana is made to be Nagi's finace. It appears that Wataru's parents merely want Nagi's assets. Wataru certainly did not want to wed Nagi at all due to numerous reasons. When Isumi appear, Wataru become well behaved. Maria then state that Wataru actually likes Isumi. Wataru find out by himself that Isumi might actually like Hayate and wants to prove to Isumi that he is a better man than Hayate is. He challenge him to a duel which Hayate loses deliberately but yet obviously to make Nagi's happy by canceling their engagement since Wataru will be together with Isumi. Isumi and the others are able to see through it and Isumi admires Hayate to allow Wataru to win to save his pride. Wataru cried when he find out that Isumi praise him and run away.

Hayate thinks he should apologize to Wataru. Maria agrees too and Hayate tries to find out where he lives. Maria said that he lives in the city. Knowing that traffic will be busy on the road, Hayate decides to take a train there. Nagi, Isumi and Maria apparently never ride a train or subway before and starting bombarding him with questions. Eventually, Nagi and Isumi decides to come with Hayate knowing that they will be able to ride on the subway they have no knowledge about. But before they leave, Isumi disappears. Nagi and Hayate began to search for her. Believing she knows where they can find Isumi, Nagi lead Hayate to a underground tunnel. Being afraid of darkness, she did not want to leave his side. Nagi then tell him how she spend the night sleeping when rats attacked. They spot Isumi on the way out and surprisingly, Isumi is able to save them from the rats. Returning back to the mansion, Isumi hear the wrong information from Sakuya about subways. Just before Hayate leaves for Wataru's home again, Nagi orders him to take some DVDs to Wataru. On the way there, Hayate meets Saki Kijima who says she can lead him there. Hayate then discover her fear of men. Hayate discover that Wataru's home is actually a video rental store. Inside, Wataru introduce his store to Hayate. This happens to be the last property of the Tachibana Family and Wataru tries to work his way up financially. Hayate finally apologize to Wataru and to let Wataru forgive him, he decides to be a member of his store. He then find out that his father already registered him here and still owe the store goods. That left Hayate anguished.

08 "Going to Hell via Cat Ear Mode"
"Neko Mimi Mōdo de Jigoku Iki" (ネコミミ・モードで地獄行き)

Sakuya finally left Nagi's mansion for school. Nagi refuse to go to school herself even though Hayate insist on it. She wants to spend more time with Hayate though. While cleaning, Maria, who is worried about Hayate's relationship with Nagi, started asking him questions. Hayate thought she just want to know more about her. Nagi calls Hayate to her room where Nagi force him to try on a female school uniform just for the purpose of spending time with him. When he wore it, Nagi is surprised that he actually look good in it. Maria enter into the room and join in the fray. Nagi and Maria then made him wear a cat-girl outfit which they find him unbelievably cute. When Tama sees it, he thought Hayate's a girl and start being intimate with him. Hayate manages to escape his clutches but when Klaus see him, the same reaction is given. This time round, Maria and Nagi manage to save him. The fiesta finally ended with Nagi not liking how Hayate treats Maria with gratitude by giving him back his clothes.

At night, with Isumi accompanying Nagi, Maria is relieved of her duty to accompany Nagi tonight. She decides to play a game of billiards and is found out by Hayate. He join in While playing the game, Hayate find out from Maria how Nagi and Isumi met. Apparently, Isumi likes Nagi's manga that is treated like rubbish to Sakuya and her other childhood friends. Nagi's first reaction is to marry Isumi. Placing a bet on the game, Maria suggest the loser to do anything the winner wants. Hayate agreed. Asking what Maria would want to do to him, Hayate discover her intention to increase his debt to 200 million yen. Hayate sweat dropped. Maria suggest the best way to repay the debt is  for Hayate to marry Nagi. Hayate disagreed. He said that if he marries Nagi, it will look like he only want her money and he would never touch a child, let alone his savior. Maria finally understand and decides not to get involved with their relationship anymore. Maria eventually lose the game and Hayate is about to state his claim when Nagi appear in fury and beat the hell out of him again. Hayate then states that he merely want Maria to forgive him for the ruined cashmere coat. Maria sweat dropped for him.

09 "Eloim Essaim. Mr. Cow, Mr. Cow! What is it, Mr. Frog?"
"Eroimu Essaimu. Ushi-kun Ushi-kun! Nandai Kaeru-kun?" (エロイムエッサイム。ウシくんウシくん！なんだいカエルくん？)

Isumi finally returned home but Nagi wishes she would continue to stay for her. But Isumi refuses. Hayate tries to think of a way to motivate Nagi to go to school and decide to take her to and from school everyday from now on. Nagi reluctantly agrees and goes to school for the day. When they reach thre, Nagi ask why Hayate wanted so much for her to go to school. Hayate respond by saying that people did not have the chance to do the same at all, referring to himself. Through a conversation with Tama, Hayate thinks that he may never attend school ever again. In school, Nagi apparently wasn't looking at where she is going and almost headed into the haunted building of the school. Isumi save her in time. When she comes back, it turns out she forgot her notebook at school. Hayate offers to go to school late at night to bring it back and at the school gate he runs into Yukiji who happens to be the school's person on duty. Hayate then request Yukiji to let him in so that he can take the notebook for Nagi. Arriving at her room, Hayate find out that Yukiji has been living in school because she does not have the money to rent a room. The trio appears and introduce themselves to Hayate. Knowing that they are from the Student Council, Hayate figure that they must be Hinagiku's friends as well. The trio then started called Hayate, 'Hayata'. Yukiji seems to have a good relationship with them. Hayate finally went on his way to find Nagi's notebook but find out that the place he is going is haunted. Hayate began to worry about himself. Reaching the building, he find out how scary that place is.

He enter nonetheless, roaming the building in search of the notebook. Just then, Nagi called with her starting to worry about him. From the call, Nagi told Hayate that she can hear voices in the background when Hayate actually is alone. Ending the call and ignoring that, Hayate continue his search but soon find himself falling into the weak floor of the building. Back at the POD room, Hinagiku visit her elder sister and find out from her that Hayate has went into the haunted building. It is then Nagi knew about the school being haunted and tries to call Hayate but failed to do so. Discovering Hayate head to the haunted building, Hinagiku decides to find Hayate. Arriving there, she is immediately haunted by a moving mannequin. Hearing her scream, Hayate went to her rescue. Being frightened by this, Hinagiku decides to find out who is scaring her. Hayate has no other choice but to follow her. The mannequin soon attack them again but this time round, Hinagiku isn't afraid anymore. She decides to fight it when Hayate realizes that the mannequin is actually something trying to scare them away so that they will not be in danger because of the real thing. The mannequin finally made it look like Hinagiku defeated it and with help from Hayate, manages to convince Hinagiku to leave this place. Isumi, being the exorcist here, continues with her task at hand. Hayate return back with Nagi's notebook in one piece.

10 "There's a Subtle High Deflation in the World. Play Games without Accumulation"
"Yo ni mo Bimyō na Haidefure. Gēmu wa Tsumazu ni Pureishiro" (世にも微妙なハイデフレ。ゲームは積まずにプレイしろ)

First up, Maria is being shown singing and dressed somewhat like Lacus Clyne, being watched by the masses. The scene then changes to Nagi and Sakuya playing a video game with each other using a old system. It appears that the game system is wrecked and starting to talk back at Nagi and Hayate. After beating it senseless, they left the system alone and it started to go mad. Sakuya, discovering it, tries to destroy it but failed to do so. The demon living inside an old video game then takes three of the student council members from Nagi's school inside the game where she will defeat them to be freed from this game world and on the other hand, they must defeat her to return to the real world. Upon arriving here, Risa died first. But the trio still marches on. Hinagiku, the student council president, arrives soon after and they go to destroy the demon, but she ends up ending it herself.
