Character Creation Guide
1. Name. See Elven Names for information and the wonderful name generator. Please make sure you aren't taking a name someone else already has.
Don't forget the soul name either! (If your elf has one.) I may need to request you to change it if someone already has too similar one, but that happens quite rarely.
2. Preserver title. Preserver title contain a descriptive part ("funnyface") and a racial part ("highthing"). Descriptive part can come from elf's appearance, behavior or anything else that preservers find special in the elf (no more hair or eye color based, please). Use your imagination and please don't use word "pretty" in the descriptive part. Common Phrases have their own page too.
3. See Elves page for elf ages and physical details.
4. You may want to take a look at Seasons before choosing your elf's clothing.
5. If you don't understand all this Recognition and love/lifemating and soul siblings stuff, take a look at Recognition, mating & cubs and Elven sexuality & love- and lifemates.
6. Choose magic your character has. All elves have elf-Sending and animal-blooded elves usually have animal bonding (and Sending) with their respective animal type. Most elves also have weak Magic Feeling. See Magic! page for description and Avalable Magics for availability of each magical power.
7. Choose talents your character has. See Talents page for some you could choose from and/or invent your own. Please also take some talents in which s/he is not so good. I do not like characters who are good in everything they do.
8. Choose your elf's position (or duty) in the tribe. See Tribal Duties for the positions and their availability. I'm not saying they are all there, so if you can come up with some other duty that is useful to the tribe, let me know.
9. Choose weapon skills. For example bow, dagger, sword, spear or axe. Take a look at the Weapons & Tools page if you like. It's probably by no means complete, so you can choose also other weapons as long as they aren't too modern (gunpowder and anything more advanced is absolutely out of question). Remember skill levels here, too.
10. Bond animal. Only for animal-blooded elves and only of the same species whose blood the elf has in his/her veins (though a lion-blooded elf might bond with also some other cat, for example). Your character can take other animals as pets.
