The Marvin project came to a temporary halt at this point due to the fact that Calan (the only one on the team at this point) got married and did not expect to compete the following year. Planning on continuing the project over a long period of time in his garage, Calan did not work on the project after June until October when the team got back together (most of the original team) to build a third competition robot and compete again.
