My artwork depicts primarily geometric designs in the colors of the spectrum.
They're very precise in measurement and in exacting detail and often have
been mistaken for computer-aided designs. These are paintings which have
been initially drawn by hand and only later scanned into a computer for
further enhancement in ways not possible otherwise. For instance, the computer
enables the drawing to cycle through the colors of the spectrum and give
the appearance of movement within the painting (Like those spinning color
wheels below which are seemingly rotating counter-clockwise).This changes
the nature of the expression of a painting from static to dynamic with
the addition of motion. I work with bright colors in specific color sequences
and I feel this affects the viewer in their experience of staring at these
geometric mandalas. I refer to these paintings as "eyegasms" and feel they
may enhance one's esthetic well-being through color therapy and geometric
symmetry.

My artwork was on display in an art exhibit at the Montgomery-Floyd
County Library in Blacksburg, Virginia. Part of this exhibit was online for a time
