What Good Is A War?

What good is a war where the innocent die
Where people can't sleep while bombs fill the sky

Where people can't finish their prayers before bed
Because of the noise of warplanes overhead

Where bombs may accidentally fall on hosptals and schools
And despite such mistakes, the war still continues

What good is a war where gutters flow red
Where a baby stops crying because it is dead

What good is a war where the bare necessities are gone
And in spite of all this, the war still goes on.

(The people who benefit most from a war are the funeral directors.)
