Living with Gender Dysphoria
  Is this condition curable?

The way I figure it, if I could take a tablet to make all these feelings disappear, I would. A person's consciousness up to any moment in time is a cumulation of all of the person's lifes' experiences. The human psyche (or consciousness as the experts call it), is made up of a series of rings like that of a cross section of a tree trunk. Each portion of the ring is a part of a person's life. To fix my condition would be like cutting out the bad bits from each part of this ring, and then putting it back together again. How do you fix a personality (or identity), which has been formed from birth and all the experiences that has led to the present time. It's like trying to turn a hard boiled egg, raw.

Furthermore, the experts do not even know if this condition is nature or nurture, bearing in mind that crossdressing is a result of having this condition. Perhaps there isn't a problem at all, but just that we live in a society which insists that everyone should be only either a male or a female (discounting the fact that 1 in every 4000 babies born in Australia is born androgenous). I do not have the answers, but all I know is that I am different, and I am proud to be who I am. Not anyone out there can tell me otherwise.
