Living with Gender Dysphoria
How do I feel when I'm dressed up? Am I a different person?

I feel free when I'm dressed up, in the fullest sense of the word. I do not feel high or off to some fantasy world as some people have asked me, but more a feeling of being at total peace and in full control of myself. When I am in girl mode, I feel like making friends, going shopping, paying bills, going to the cinema, and just about anything else that I can think of. I do not feel that I am a different person when I am dressed up. Just a more enhanced version of my male self. I gave myself a feminine name to allow others to associate the name with my female look. If we can give names to our pets, I can't see any reason why I should not have a female name as well.
