Living with Gender Dysphoria
Do I wish to live full time as a woman?

All I can say to date, is yes and no. The times when I really think about going full time, is towards the end of the 2 week cycle of thirsting to dress up. Once I have had a whole day of dressing up, and my need has diminished, I feel ok to revert back to my male mode. Honestly, I feel I would prefer to alternate between the two, if possible (obviously more time en femme would be preferable).

Being full time has it's whole set of complications which I do not even wish to take on at this time of my life. From the various transgendered individuals I have spoken to, transitioning is a very serious decision to make and I can only say that it takes lots of courage and a whole lot of determination to undergo hormone therapy and live as a woman for a full year, before even qualifying for SRS (sex reassignment surgery). One has to be fully aware that the lives of the people who currently care for you will also be affected.
