I have noticed that some people on the IRC channel have some problems with the XDCC server. I have some instructions on how to use it in the quick IRC tutorial.

2002-11-11 DALnet is back!
I was able to connect to the DALnet IRC network today, so my server in #startrekvideo is back online. Click here for more information.

2002-11-07 Enterprise episode 2-06 available
Star Trek Enterprise episode 2-06 'Marauders' is available on our IRC channel #startrekvideo. Due to connection problems with DALnet my file-server might not be available, but I'll be back as soon as the problems with DALnet are solved.

2002-11-07 DALnet problems
The network has been under attack by hackers and a lot of their systems are down because of this, so you probably won't be able to connect to a DALnet server. The DALnet website explains the problems, go to: http://www.dalnet.com.
I too was unable to connect a DALnet server but I'll be back on #startrekvideo as soon as the problems are over.
