The Timeline is based on the Battle of Yavin being standard year zero. Events take place BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin) and ABY (After the Battle of Yavin).

5,000 - 4,990 BBY Explorers Gav and Joni Daragon discover the Sith Empire ruled by Sith Lords and powered by the Darkside. This leads to a major battle between the Sith Empire and the Old Republic. 4,000 - 3,998 The Old Republic is guarded by the Jedi Knights. Two Jedi stand-out, Nomi Sunrider and Ulic Qel-Droma, who helps end a planetary civil war. 896 BBY Yoda is born. 200 BBY Chewbacca is born on Kashyyyk. 60 BBY Ben Kenobi is born. 41 BBY Anakin Skywalker is born. 32 BBY Palpatine begins his rise to power. 29 BBY Han Solo is born. 72 - 20 BBY Anakin Skywalker is seduced by the darkside of the Force and is transformed into Darth Vader. 10 BBY The twins Luke and Leia Skywalker are born. 10 BBY Han Solo wins the Millennium Falcon from Lando Calrissian. 5 - 2 BBY Han Solo and Chewbacca take part in a series of exploits in the Corporate Sector. 1 - 0 BBY Rebel agent Kyle Katarn steals the plans for the Empire's Death Star. 0 The Imperial Senate is dissolved and Emperor Palpatine declares a New Order. The first Death Star is destroyed and Ben Kenobi is struck down by Vader becoming one with the Force. 0+ ABY Luke and Leia search for the Kaiburr crystal, which holds great Force powers, and encounter Vader. The base in Yavin 4 is evacuated and Rebels set up a new one in Hoth. 3 ABY The Empire finds the base on Hoth and ensue in a great battle (The Battle of Hoth). Luke Skywalker trains under Master Yoda. Leia, Han, Chewbacca, and C-3PO are captured by Vader and held as bait for Luke. Han Solo is encased in carbonite and given to the bounty hunter Boba Fett to take to Jabba the Hutt. Vader tells Luke he is his father and Luke loses his hand in a lightsaber duel against him. 3+ ABY Cindel Towani and her family crash land on the forest moon of Endor. They are helped by a tribe of Ewoks. 3.5 ABY The head of the Black Sun criminal organization, Prince Xizor, plots to discredit Darth Vader and become Palpatine's second-in-command by assassinating Luke Skywalker. It backfires and Xizor is terminated. Luke builds his own lightsaber. 4 ABY Jabba the Hutt is killed by Luke Skywalker. Luke returns to Dagobah where Yoda tells him Vader is really his father. Yoda dies and becomes one with the Force. The second Death Star is destroyed. Vader saves his son from Emperor Palpatine's dark force lightning. Vader destroys Palpatine but is killed himself. 4+ ABY Rebels and Imperials team up to destroy the reptilian Ssi-ruuk under a truce at Bakura. 4.5 ABY Rogue Squadron's X-Wing pilots begin retaking the galaxy planet by planet. 5 ABY Many try to lead the Empire again including a mutant called Trioculus. Young Jedi Prince Ken emerges from isolation. 6.5 - 7.5 ABY Wedge Antilles leads Rogue Squadron in a struggle against the former head of Imperial Intelligence over the galaxy's supply of curative bacta. 8 ABY Princess Leia and Han Solo marry. 9 ABY Imperial Gran Admiral Thrawn returns and becomes a major threat to the New Republic. He is killed by his own bodyguard. Leia Organa Solo gives birth to the twins, Jaina and Jacen. 10 ABY Two different clones of Emperor Palpatine emerge each wielding a new super-weapon, Galaxy Gun and World Devastators. Luke is nearly turned to the darkside. Leia gives birth to Anakin, her third child. 11 ABY Luke establishes a Jedi training academy on Yavin 4. The spirit of Dark Lord Exar Kun is awakened and nearly kills Luke. 12 - 13 ABY Luke is trapped aboard an old Imperial battle moon. He battles a Hutt, deals with a mysterious outbreak of a deadly plague, and has a one-time romance with Jedi Knight Callista. 14 ABY Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin Solo are kidnapped by a one-time Imperial officer who establishes an "Empire Reborn" movement. 15 ABY Luke Skywalker achieves the ability to cloak objects. 16 - 17 ABY A species called Yevethan threatens the New Republic. Luke searches for clues about his mother. 17 ABY A one-time Jedi pupil becomes a darkside menace. The New Republic is endangered by bombs that he plants. 22 - 23 ABY Anakin Solo joins the Jedi Academy. 23 - 24 ABY Jaina and Jacen join the Jedi Academy and help take on the Second Imperium.
