 Evelyn Dale Potter (Ladybug)
The Lord called Dale (as we all knew her)
home suddenly on 9-16-1997. We found out
she had cancer and within a couple weeks
she was called home. It was so unexpected,
and such a shock, that It's still hard to
believe. She was only 46. I didn't get the
chance to see her, and I am saddened by this.
When I found out she was in the hospital, and it
was serious, I was making plans to go see her.
I wrote her a note that she never received,
because before I could get it to her, I got
the phone call that no one ever wants to hear.
(With the note still in my hands.)
The Lord had called her home to become an angel.
She will never read the note, but I know she's
watching over us, and that she is in our thoughts
everyday.
One of her sons was born with cancer. They
had to remove one of his kidney's and after
2 years of treatment, I'm very happy to say
that he is free of cancer, and has been able
to live without any affects of it.
Dale left behind her husband of 24 years, and 3
children, 2 boys 1 girl, and 1 Grandson. Both of
her sons are married now and her oldest son was
recently blessed with a Daughter Isabel Evelyn.
Her daughter is engaged, and on her own now.
She would be so proud of her family. I bet
she's up there now just smiling down on them.
She is deeply missed!!!!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE...
The family is growing. There now is Zachary Tyler,
Matthew and Joseph.
