God's Reason Why

God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he placed his arms around her, and whispered come with me.

Thru tearful eyes we watched her suffer then she faded away. Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay.

she said hush my baby hush my baby everything will be all right, everythings calm before the storm but we'll make it all right.

Her golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands layed to rest. God took her from us to prove he only takes the best.

We love you mom and we hate to see you go, but where you've gone the streets are paved in gold.

And she said hush now baby hush now baby everything will be alright, everythings calm before the storm but we'll make it all right. Hush now baby hush now baby everything will be all right. Mommas gone to sleep now everythings gonna be all right.

Baby Bear

Just six years old, on his face a frown, His little world turned upside down.

A baby once wanted so very bad, Now so unhappy, lonely, and sad.

Six years old, and a nervous wreck, Let me tell you parents, It's child neglect.

Once so tiny, cuddly, and sweet, He was given by God-a special treat!

There must be a way he'll be happy then , His little world will be right again.

No fond memories of happiness nor fun, Just screaming, and yelling, and jumping the gun.

No security, happiness nothing but fright, Afraid he'll wake up alone some night.

It's late I know, I'm sorry son, I'll try to make up for the harm I've done.

Love Forever,

Mama Bear
