A LETTER TO MY MOM, MY FRIEND

Dear Mom,

When God called you to become an angel my heart broke,

I know you are in a better place now,

but it still hurts so much.

It's so hard to believe your not here anymore, it just doesn't seem real.

I still find myself going to the phone to call you,

to ask you the dumb questions I always had for you,

but you're not here to answer them anymore.

Mom will the pain ever stop? Will it ever go away? How will my life be now without you here?

People say that it will get easier, but I don't see how.

I keep you close in my heart. You are always with me.

I know you are watching over us all and someday we will meet again.

I miss your smile, I miss your laughter, I miss your words of wisdom,

all the things I miss will live on in my memories.

You were always there for me. We went through all the stages a Mother and Daughter go through,

and it makes me happy to know that you were not only my Mom but also my Friend.

You have been a wonderful Mother, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Thank You Mom for being you,

for picking the best Dad in the world for us,

and for giving me my brothers, my sister, my life.

I Love and Miss you Mom!!!!!!!!

Your Loving Daughter

A POEM

You never said I'm leaving,

You never said goodbye,

You were gone before I knew it,

And only God knows why,

A million times I've needed you,

A million times I've cried,

If love alone could have saved you,

You never would have died,

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we love you still,

In our hearts you hold a place,

No one else will ever fill,

It broke my heart to lose you,

But you didn't go alone,

Part of me went with you,

The day God took you home.
