Grandma you are missed
There are nights where
I sit and think of you,
Wondering why you had to go
Not understanding why it was you.
You are missed so very much,
The smell of your perfume,
The feel of your touch.
Your heart-warming thoughts
And all of your concern,
You have helped me in so many ways
From you grandma a lot I have learned.
But I know now that
You are a beautiful angel,
And you are still here with us
Watching over and protecting us all.
I wish you were here to watch
All I’ve done,
And it’s all because of you
Your strong helpful words.
If I could be like anyone
In this world,
It would be like you grandma,
A strong and wise girl.
You are in my thoughts
And in my heart,
And there you have
A very big part.
I miss you grandma and know someday I can be with you again.
