    Known Relatives:  None

Hometown:  Wakaba Town (New Bark Town)

Aspirations:  To get his stolen pokemon back

Video Game Appearances:  Pokemon Gold (Game Boy Color), Pokemon Silver (Game Boy Color), Pokemon Cyrstal (Game Boy Color)

Defining episodes:  Episode 117, "Wakaba Town!  Where The Winds of New Beginning Blow!" ("Don't Touch that 'Dile!"), Episode 210, "Whirlpool Archipelago!  Reaching a New Challenge!!"

Information:  Utsugi-Hakase is the Jouto region’s version of Ookido-Hakase.  Although he is rather young, his knowledge of pokemon is immense.

Ustugi-Hakase is a bit absent-minded and is distracted easily.  The Rocket-Dan were even able to steal a Waninoko from him without him knowing!  While he was in the same room as the pokemon!  Ustugi-Hakase is the person who gives the Jouto trainer one of his (or her) starter pokemon--Chikorita, Hinoarashi, or Waninoko.  Later in the game, he has one of his remaining pokemon stolen from him by your rival, and it’s up to you to retrieve it!  Utsugi-Hakase is creditied, among other things, with discovering pokemon evolution.

Utsugi-Hakase introduces Satoshi-tachi to the Uzumaki Cup, and explains to them how it operates.  He recommends that they join, and they happily agree--Satoshi because he’s always up for a challenge, Kasumi because of all the water pokemon that’ll be involved, and Takeshi because he can meet lots of girls!

Utsugi-Hakase is currently somewhere around the Whirlpool Islands, traveling about

Pocket Monsters was not created by me.  It was created by Satoshi Tajiri and the crew at TV-Tokyo.  Pokemon is (c) Game Freak, Nintendo, 4Kids Productions, Hasbro, Bandai, and a ton of other companies. When you have a popular anime like Pokemon, lots of people own it so it's impossible to list every company who owns a piece of Pokemon.  No infringement of copyrights is meant by the creation of the web site.  All images were gotten from official websites (Nintendo, TV-Tokyo, etc.) unless otherwise noted (I don't steal images from other sites!).
