The Movie 5 Poster.  The thieves Zanna and Lion are to the right of the movie's logo.  At the bottom right-hand corner are three of the Pokemon Advance pokemon making their debut in the short.

"Mizu no Miyako no Mamori Gami Ratiasu to Ratiosu" ("The Water Capital's Protector Gods Ratiasu and Ratiosu") and "Pika Pika Hoshi Zora KYANPU" ("The Glittering Starlit Camp") is the newest Pocket Monsters movie coming out of Japan.  The film, which opens in Japanese theatres on July 30th, 2002, will focus on two of the pokemon from the upcoming Pocket Monsters Advance game.

Very little is known at this point.  The main film is about Satoshi and Pikachu going to the capital of a vast water city, "Alta Mare."  The inspiration to make the city capital of Alta Mare into a water-city came from Kunihiko Yuyama's recent trip to Venice, Italy.  Satoshi will meet the city's protector gods, Ratiosu (the elder brother) and Ratiasu (the younger sister).  The gods protect the Kokoro no Shizuku ("drop of the heart"), but it's been stolen by the thieves Zanna and Lion!  Can Satoshi-tachi reclaim it?

At this time, there are really no details on the mini-short except that it will introduce three new pokemon, including Sonano (the pre-evolved version of Sonansu).

Pocket Monsters was not created by me.  It was created by Satoshi Tajiri and the crew at TV-Tokyo.  Pokemon is (c) Game Freak, Nintendo, 4Kids Productions, Hasbro, Bandai, and a ton of other companies. When you have a popular anime like Pokemon, lots of people own it so it's impossible to list every company who owns a piece of Pokemon.  No infringement of copyrights is meant by the creation of the web site.  All images were gotten from official websites (Nintendo, TV-Tokyo, etc.) unless otherwise noted (I don't steal images from other sites!).
