(Nintendo 64)
Japan: March 21st, 1999 USA: July 27th, 1999 In this game, you play as Toru, the Pokemon photographer. You go through various locations taking pictures of pokemon. In order to get some pokemon out of hiding, you must throw apples near them for them to eat, throw Pester Balls at them to shake them out of hiding, or play the flute to bring them to life. The game is very fun, but waaaaaaay too short (you can beat it in a day). The game includes only about 60 or so pokemon. It's very fun. There's a Dogasu in the game! Unfortunately, though, the only way for you to get a picture of Purin singing is to hit Dogasu with Pester Balls! It looks so unhappy...both before and after being hit. :-( Anyway, the game's very popular in the US. They actually got the people from the TV show to do the dubbing (especially Nyasu and Ookido). I think everyone is the same, except maybe Toru (he doesn't say that much anyway). The game's worth at least renting. Unfortunately, you can only save one file -_-. Oh well. A neat thing about this game is that for a while, you could take your cart to Blockbuster and print out four of your favorite pictures as stickers!

Pocket Monsters was not created by me. It was created by Satoshi Tajiri and the crew at TV-Tokyo. Pokemon is (c) Game Freak, Nintendo, 4Kids Productions, Hasbro, Bandai, and a ton of other companies. When you have a popular anime like Pokemon, lots of people own it so it's impossible to list every company who owns a piece of Pokemon. No infringement of copyrights is meant by the creation of the web site. All images were gotten from official websites (Nintendo, TV-Tokyo, etc.) unless otherwise noted (I don't steal images from other sites!). |
