A Nightmare on Elm Street 4:
The Dream Master (1988)

This takes place as the survivors of Elm Street come back to face the worries of Kristain. Krstain has a dream that Freddy is coming back, however Kincaid and Joey take her lightly as they raved it was nothing more then just fright. As the movie continues Joey and Kincaid were dead a few days later causing Kristain to act crazy and ends up being knocked unconscious. She dreams of Freddy Krueger as things start again. Later that day Kristain, Alice, Rick, and Dan (friend of Rick's) go to the old Elm Street house. Kristain described the house as Freddy's home. Kristain went home and as she was eating, her mother (Elaine Parker) slipped sleeping pills into Kristain's water. She ran up stairs trying to do anything to not fall asleep, but she remembered what Alice had said before. Dream someplace fun. She did and she laid on a beach relaxing until Freddy made his presence known. Alice tried to escape but she ended up in Freddy's boiler room. Freddy taunted her to bring one of her friends to help, but she tried fighting him off. It was too late. Kristain got into her dreams. To protect Alice, Kristain ran at Freddy however ended up being thrown into the boiler. Kristain gave Alice her power as Kristain died.

As more people died (her friends Shelly and Rick) she noticed that she was getting their attitude... their power. Alice, Dan, and Debbie made a plan to stop Freddy before any of them were to be next. Alice tried to leave, but her father demanded not to. She was the only one left out of the family. She fell asleep and was dragged in by Freddy to give him another victim. She was scared and brought Debbie to Krueger. Alice woke up and rushed to get Dan as Freddy put them in a runaround trying to get to Debbie. Freddy killed Debbie by making her a insect and squashing her. Alice knows it was too late, but sees Krueger in the open road and she put the pedal to the metal causing to get in a accident. Alice was okay, but Dan was bleeding bad and was knocked out by the impact. The medics came and they tried putting Dan to sleep, but Alice rejected by saying he was allergic to it. Alice rushes home to prepare for her battle. Dan was forced asleep as the doctor had to work on surgery. Freddy appeared to Dan but Alice stopped him and freed Dan. They went looking for Freddy. Freddy sends Alice and Dan falling in a church. As they descended to the church Dan was disappearing as the doctor brought him out of his sleep. It was now up to Alice as the battle raged on. Alice gave Freddy all she could, but nothing was working. As Freddy cornered her she remembered a poem called the Dream Master. She picked up a mirror because "if evil would see itself it shall die." All the souls ripped out of Freddy and destroyed him, and ascended into Heaven. Dan and Alice walk to a fountain glad the nightmare was over. As Dan threw a penny to the water Alice seen a fast reflection of Freddy in the water. They then walked away.
