Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)

Freddy plays his original role one last time as several years have passed since Nightmare 5 and Freddy has murdered all the children in Springwood except for a kid name John. He leads John out of Springwood for a mysterious reason. John finds himself lost wondering around outside of Springwood as he goes not knowing where to go. He winds up at a shelter where he meets a therapist named Maggie. Maggie sees her dreams relating to John's so they go to Springwood to discover what puzzle is hidden in Springwood. As they traveled there, Maggie finds three other from the shelter who were trying to escape (Tracy, Carlos and Spencer). Maggie tells them to go back as Maggie and John figure out clues. They traveled to a school where they found out Freddy had a kid, then to a pre-school where they found a picture drawn with the signature of K. Krueger. John was convinced that he was Freddy's kid. It was his reason why Freddy wouldn't kill him.

Tracy, Carlos and Spencer tried getting out of Springwood, but they were going in circles. They finally stopped and found a vacant house to go into. It was the Elm Street house. Weird things finally happened as Carlos died when his head exploded. Tracy went to find Maggie and John. She did and lead them to the house. They then found Spencer in a deep sleep and he was going off the wall. John and Tracy enter Spencer's dream and try to stop Freddy only to fail. Maggie finds Springwood to be more noticeable. Maggie then wakes Tracy as they pull John out of there. In John's dream Freddy taunts him as he told John that he was no more then a pawn in his game. He was to have his daughter back so he could move to a new location to kill more kids.

Maggie and Tracy go back to the shelter and no one even seemed to remember Carlos, Spencer or John except for Doc, a dream therapist who could control his dreams. It became more clear now that Maggie was Katharine Krueger (Freddy's daughter). Freddy encounters Doc in the dream world and Doc found a way to kill Freddy. Pull him out of the Dreamworld and kill him in the living world. Maggie enters Freddy's mind as a trap to catch him. She does, but he is no where to be seen. They entered down itno the basement area of the shelter and Maggie fights Freddy to the death... with a few choice weapons: T.N.T. and Freddy's own glove. She blew him up, releasing the dream demons seen in Freddy's past that helped him become what he has. Freddy was dead for good... or was he?
