A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989)

Freddy returns again this time he wants to be a daddy. Alice returns as The Razor-Gloved Madman stalks Alice's baby Jacob. It starts out that Alice had witnessed a scene of Amanda Krueger's rape only this time she was dressed in Amanda Krueger's nun clothes. Before anything dramatic happened she woke up... only to find that one of the men who raped her was there - however she awakened again. Alice now graduates with a whole new bunch of friends and of course boyfriend, Dan. As the movie goes on Alice dreams of Freddy's rebirth in the church that Freddy and Alice fought in during the last sequel. Freddy almost gets to Alice, but now Amanda Krueger comes to protect Alice and give her a message. After she awakened she called Dan to pick her up and told him that Freddy's back. As Dan went to pick up Alice Freddy had already gotten to him. When Alice saw and witnessed Dan's death she fainted and woke up at the hospital. She found out that she was pregnent.

Alice also kept seeing a little boy. Someone who knows her. Alice told her other friends Yvonne, Greta, and Mark about the history of Freddy Krueger and how their lives were in danger. As the story always goes they don't believe her then Greta gets killed off as Freddy force-feeds Greta her own guts. Mark starts to figure out whats going on, Yvonne is still skeptical. So Mark and Alice start doing research on Amanda and figures out she must free Amanda Krueger's soul from the old Hathaway house. As Alice tries to find Amanda's body, Mark is the next to go as Freddy turned into a "Superman"-like character and shredded him to pieces. Yvonne gets trapped by Krueger only to be saved by Alice. Alice tells Yvonne to try to find Amanda Krueger's resting place as she finds Freddy. Her first attempt was to throw him down the stairs of where the reoccurring past of the 100 maniacs go and rip Freddy apart. The attempt failed as she seen Freddy talking to the young child. She realizes that it is her unborn child and they escape from Freddy.

As they lost Freddy, her son (Jacob) tells Alice that Freddy hides inside of her, thats how he found Jacob. She challenges Freddy for a final showdown and he does, emerging out of her, playing with her before he kills her. Yvonne searches and finds the unresting spirit. As Amanda was free, she told Jacob that it was up to him to save Alice and give Freddy the souls he had given to him. He talks Freddy out of killing Alice and releases the souls out of him into Freddy as the souls of Dan, Gretta and Mark take away the power of Freddy. Freddy transforms into a infant and Amanda takes the baby Freddy and puts him in her womb by a magical force. Alice does the same to Jacob and Alice runs away as Freddy and Amanda struggle to the death. About a year later goes by as Alice, Yvonne, Alice's father (Mr. Johnson) and infant Jacob go to the park for a picnic. Things are happy for them, however they saved the best for last.
