Excuse me, ma'am, may I have this fuck?What does it mean in this day and age? Shouldn't "fuck you" simply be indicative of the fact that you want someone to be fucked? What does fuck mean, then? Is it the act of invoking sexual intercourse? That's my understanding. So, when I say, "Fuck you," to a girl, perhaps it means that I have a hidden desire to tie her to a bed and rape her, strangling her to death with a metal wire when I'm finished? So, in this situation, "fuck you" would also mean, "I want to have wild sex with you until you scream in delight, but I also wish a painful death upon you." Is this why people become so enraged at the sound of a good, old-fashioned "fuck you"? Let us examine this more deeply. Say, for example, I happened to bump into a guy in the hall. "Fuck you, mother fucker!" he would ejaculate as he turned around to slug me. Is the "fuck you" a threat in this circumstance? Is the sexual reference still retained deep within the underlying implications of this poor, ignorant man's limited vocabulary? Does he secretly desire to push me up against the tree and have a good fuck, killing me later, or does he simply want to kill me immediately? What would happen if I kicked his ass, and he continually screamed, "MOTHER FUCKER!" over and over? Is he accusing me of having sex with his mother, or is he accusing me of beating, maiming, or killing her? It’s perplexing, to say the least. Say, for instance, that I’m walking to class, when I suddenly realize that I left my pants at home. I might scream, “Fucking hell, everyone’s staring at my hairy legs!” I’m not religious, so the classic definition of Hell isn’t something I really believe. Well, what am I saying? By “fucking,” am I commenting on the fact that my concept of Hell is having sexual intercourse with my concept of Heaven, or could it mean that something is doing something mean to Hell? Here’s another example: I get a bad grade on my quiz, so I walk up to my teacher and say, “Fuck you, Professor Colon Cancer! I didn’t deserve this bad grade as much as you deserve a good kick in the ass!” Does my usage of “fuck you” imply that I have the desire to have sex with Professor Colon Cancer in order to get a better score on my quiz? Wouldn’t I get kicked out of school for that? Damn. Well, you be the judge. What do we mean when we exchange a “fuck you” here and there? When I throw a friendly “fuck you” out to Bill, whom I met the other day at a convenience store, and he throws a “fuck you” right back at me, are we flirting with one another, or simply exchanging death threats? The truth could be far beyond the capable realization of humans. 1) I believe the use of the word 'fuck' has different meanings by how 'fuck' is used in a sentence. If it is a verb, it implies a sexual desire and the want to fuck the living life out of your chosen rapee. Ex: "Go fuck yourself, I hope your goddamn parrot dies!" This demonstrates that the sayer of this quote is wanting the hearer to 'fuck him/herself.' Meaning that the speaker wouldn't necessarily like to watch them fuck him or herself, but the speaker does want this to happen regardless. It was implied to be in a hateful tone which gives it a nice fucking ring. 2) If, however, it is an adjective, it simply adds emphasize on your immediately following words. Allow me to explain: Ex: "Where the hell is my fucking left nut?! I hate cold days." This is a complex statement to say the least. The word 'fucking' is used to enhance 'left' and 'nut.' Is there a hidden meaning in this sentence? There very well could be. Perhaps this person's left nut was indeed 'fucking' when he had lost it. Maybe his left nut fucks all the time. 3) And finally, if the word 'fuck' is used as a noun it is simply describing that particular person, place, thing, or idea. Let us examine further: Ex: "Shut the fuck up you stupid pile of dripping fuck!" The second 'fuck' in this sentence is used to describe that one person. In this case, by calling this person a stupid pile of steaming sexual intercourse, we realize the negative tone used by the speaker. Unless of course it was sarcasm, which we'll get to later. I also want to examine the first part of that sentence. "Shut the fuck up." What exactly does this mean? It's obvious once you look at it. You could be having wild passionate sex with your 19 year old neighbor, and your mom would scream 'shut the fuck up' which makes you realize that you're fucking far too loudly. You then muffle your fucking by closing the windows and doors which in return 'shuts the fuck up.' 4) The all-powerful phrase of 'fuck you' has many different meanings however and cannot be explained in a simple three part series. Say you hate your parents to the point of killing them. You scream "fuck you mom, I always hated you and your damned shrimp fried rice!" I doubt any normal self-respecting person would want to fuck their mother (unless of course they were a motherfucker). Because of this fact, we must look for a deeper meaning. 'Fuck you mom' in this instance is simply a generic release of energy that has no real meaning except for the fact that you want to express your anger in the form of words instead of beating the living shit out of your own mother. But if you're sitting in Logic class one day thinking out the logistics of a sweet fuck, and some girl with a B-cup sized bra or larger accidentally knocks your books off your desk and you reply with a soft 'fuck you.' Anger is not the emotion in this case. You think to yourself "dear god I'd like to fuck her." Therefore, by saying 'fuck you' in a situation such as this one it is meant sexually and sexually only. The other meanings of 'fuck you' are quite difficult to explain. The exact meaning of the word 'fuck' or the sentence it is used in is certainly unclear.
