Board meetings are generally held at the call of the President. Special meetings of the Board may be called by the President or can be requested by a majority of the Board Members. All club members are welcome to attend but attendance is mandatory for members serving on the board. Meetings are held at various locations and are used for planning the general meeting and accomplishing club business.

The CGSAA is a non-profit organization and does not receive financial backing from the Coast Guard or any other business. Our events are made possible due to the dedication of the CGSAA Board and its members. We sincerely appreciate your assistance on our fund-raising projects. The more people who join in, the less amount of time we are away from our families. Thank you for your support!
The Newsletter is sent out once a month to current CGSAA members through regular mail or e-mail. It contains great information, CGSAA events and local topics of interest.
If you have any articles, ideas or ads to submit, please e-mail them to our newsletter editor newsletter editor or address them to her and mail them to CGSAA • PO Box 374, Warrenton OR 97146. We always appreciate input!
Are you a creative writer? We are interested in featuring Member's articles in the CGSAA newsletter each month. Some ideas include book lists, favorite movies,reviews, poems, quotes and stories.
Have a family recipe or tip you'd like to share? Got a story that goes along with it? We would love to print it in our newsletter.
If you are a representative for a business (ie: Pampered Chef, Avon, Mary Kay) or offer a service such as tailoring or babysitting we can get the word out through the newsletter and the website, just let us know!
