The sole reason for The Parsec Paintbox existing, Maverick is the biggest game that Team DP have worked on so far. A huge sprawling space trade game that's packed with features, it's a wonderful piece of work and you should check out the official web page.

There's a lot of work needed to bring the look and feel of Maverick to life, and things such as the original ship designs we're sketched out way back in the middle of 2000. It's been a long process.

Everything in Maverick has been created from scratch, and this applies to both the 2D and 3D graphics as much as anything else. In these pages you'll find out about the processes involved, be able to see the final results, and download some bits and pieces (including the offline help system)...and as if that wasn't enough you can now take a peek at one of our meshes, spin rotate it, and interact with it in real time See For Yourself...
