On the way back to the town, we dropped
by
Changzhu Monastery, another famous temple. Chia, Cheeh and I turned the ‘Sutra Wheels’ and walked around the temple, and I felt that my head was so heavy and slightly aching. Arriving at the hotel, I called my friend -Wong, whom I met 8 years ago as well. I was very happy that I managed to contact him because we had never kept in touch since my visit to China in 1992, and he came to meet me that night after the dinner. |

It was a tough day from Tsedang to Shigatse,
via
Gyantse on the fifth day. It took about 13 hours by the old road. All the way, we had to pass a lot of mountains which were 4000m above the sea level and our bus drove around the mountain using the horrible loose road. It felt so dangerous, and we felt just like sitting beside the death border. It was so dangerous and felt that our lives could just end without a hint. The air and wind was very cool, and I felt
cold this time and quickly wore a rain coat to keep
warm. Currently, the temperature was between
in 1C and 4C?. ' Yamdrok Lake is famous and
an important lake surrounded by mountains
just behind mountain ' Khan Pa La '. It was a
wonderful scenery and the water was so
clear.
