again because the scenery was totally different
from Qinghai province's.

We drove over snowy mountains, rivers and saw
a lot of sheep grazing in the green field until we
reached a town, which was surrounded by snowy
mountains and we took our lunch there. The sun
was very hot and the air was very dry, too.

We rushed to Geermnu, on the way we stopped
at Kunlun Mountain ranges which was 4500m above sea level. We took the picture and passed over

Kunlun Mountain range, and the sea level was from high to low. We were close to the middle
of the north part, and temperature had changed between 20C to 30C. We saw camels, and
everyone was very excited and stopped for photography. The geology changed to the desert type,
and we could not see any plant from afar. We stopped at the rare animal's protection office,
which is built by China's government to protect the special Tibetan goats which are often killed
illegally.

After arriving in Geermu in the everning, we checked in at the hotel. Cheeh, Chan, Chia, Lim
and I walked around the town which was located near our hotel. Our dinner was at the hotel, and
we were very happy and enjoyed the beer. By now It could be said that we had already complete
the trip to Tibet. We no longer had to worry about the mountain sickness and high altitude
because we were in Geermu, which was only 2200m above the sea level. That night, after the
dinner, we went to a Karaoke to celebrate our successful trip, and our members really enjoyed
singing and drinking until midnight.

The next day, we visited the salt late named
'Karyan'. It was the biggest salt lake in China, and
the white landscape was wonderful and amazing.
We checked out at noon and had a quick lunch at
the hotel. Up to then, our tour guide had never
brought us shopping, but today, it was our
shopping day. The most interesting place was the
central market because we could see a variety of
souvernirs and goods.

As told by Stanley, we would not go to Lanzhou because the Lanzhou government didn't allow
Mas charted flight to land at Lanzhou airport. We had to fly from Xialin to Chengdu the next day
when we reached Xialin by the evening train.

We departed for Xialin at 5:45p.m., and reached there at 10:00a.m the next day morning.
Throughout the night in the train, we could only enjoy playing card untill we felt tire and slept.
Upon arrival at Xialin,  the capital of Chinhai province, a big city, we went to the town to take
our quick lunch, and afterthat transferred to the airport to depart for Chengdu at 3:15p.m.. We
