Motivation: Seeking Justice

Katar Hol was a Thanagarian policeman who had too strong a sense of justice. He was stripped of everything and left to rot. He managed to survive and help overthrow the corrupt government. He then went to Earth to track down one of the former leaders. He was successful, but decided to stay, taking on the name of Hawkman to regain it's honor. During the Crisis, he was joined to the Hawk avatar, which absorbed Carter and Shiera Hall into what he was. He also became joined to all of the past hawk avatars, including the Silent Knight, Nighthawk, Prince Khufu, and others. He is currently struggling to integrate it all, although he is being rapidly overwhelmed.  He later went off to the Hawk Dimension, never to return.
