I recently decided to write about this after my own experiences with this. I have now been on both sides of the problem as I have *by pure ignorance of the "rules* of being a webmaster when I first started out in February* stolen graphics as well as had ones stolen. The difference between my offense and many other people's offenses is that I had no idea at first... I though I only needed the approval of Gainax on that form. Little did I know it wasn't right to do that. I learned that after I one day got an email from HentiaMan who got kinda pissed off with me. Now I am doing nothing really more with adding graphics save revamping my image galleries to be more user friendly and merging my own pictures together and such. I am fairly sure I have permission for all of the graphics seen here *either that or the graphics were so generic it wouldn't matter if I took it*

Back to my point at hand... on the other side are the people who have gotten their graphics stolen or ideas stolen... or even whole areas stolen. As I was stating earlier the difference is that I even went as far as to delete the graphics even after getting permission when HentiaMan had told me *not the Kaworu hey still there* These people do it, on purpose, simply to piss off webmasters. I have had dealings with one guy *who shall remain nameless but you know who you are* stole my entire Touji Gallery! Another guy didn't even bother hiding the fact that MY pictures were being used by linking them directly to my own galleries. I'd get emails saying "Why do you have to Tokyo Main Pages?!?" Another guy didn't link the gallery pages to me but used the graphics off my own server. If you are gonna rip someone off with their graphics... at least do it to someone with a large image gallery which have images you don't find on every other EVA page! If you want permission for a few of the pictures on here and mail me about it, I probably will let you *to a degree* but don't take my images without permission, don't use them without permission... and that doesn't mean I want you to steal my bloopers section! It even angers me when its not my site being ripped off... My friend Great Eva got ripped off of graphics and he did give the guy permission but he still is using the graphics off his account as well as about ten different servers. After I upload this section I am going to check up on this guy and see if he at least is putting them on his own account... If not I can garauntee a bunch of people will be recieving FYI's from me!

MY POINT: Is it really that hard to ask people permission in an email before you save the pictures! Hell no! And thats the bottom line because Stonecold said so!
