Allana was upset that Atong was eliminated as she realised she was losing her best friend from the house. The rest of the girls were furious Atong had been eliminated, feeling that Allana with her prima donna behaviour really should have been the one to go.

The day's first Erika-mail led the girls to the Actors Centre in Surry Hills where they were to be instructed by Dean Carey, Australia 's leading acting coach. Erika introduced the session by relating that as a model she had quickly learned that posing wasn't enough; she had to act, and her acting training has landed her plenty of commercials.

Dean gave the girls a number of workshop exercises to get them in contact with their inner actor, concentrating on receiving energy and transmitting energy. Sam was in her element, but Chloe was not particularly comfortable. The intimate share workshop required the girls to talk about their greatest disappointment with the group. Allana went back to the past relationship, Zoe played it safe and Simmone relieved her grandfathers death. At the end of the workshop the girls were given a script to learn for a challenge the following day.

An Erika-mail the next day saw the girls arrive at Bobbi's Pole Studio for a lesson in pole dancing. They were each taught a few basics steps but Shannon was horrified about what her Dad would think. Meanwhile, Sam saw the funny side of the situation as she remembered that in an earlier task Alex Perry had commented on her pole dancer qualities, and now she had the chance to put those skills to task!

The girls had figured out that the following day's acting challenge would involve the script they had been given to learn. And that night the rift in the household became painfully clear as the girls paired up to practice their script. Gemma and Chloe curled up in the bedroom, and Simmone and Shannon opted for the lounge room. This left Allana without a partner and the loneliness she felt was a sign of things to come.

In the confession room, Sam spilled the beans on Allana for continually breaking the rules and meeting up with her Boyfriend. She felt Allana had abused the friendship with her, Atong and Zoe as she had used the friendship to be able to meet up with her boyfriend during the first week when the girls went out on the town, then on shopping expeditions and secret phone calls from public phones. The first time Sam ignored it and the second time she warned Allana that if she did it again, she would report it. Now that is had happened a third time Sam planned to confront Allana.

Back at the acting studios that afternoon for the acting challenge, Shannon volunteered to go first… before Dean Carrey introduced a celebrity guest to help with the readings. When Blair McDonough of neighbours made his entrance the girls squealed in delight and Shannon quickly regretted her decision to go first.

As they each acted out the script, Shannon was scared Blair was going to kiss her, Simmone found the situation weird, Chloe thought the whole this was stupid, Zoe forgot her lines, Gemma got embarrassed and Dam pushed the boundaries.

Sam was the eventual winner of the challenge and chose Zoe and Allana to enjoy the reward with her. They were to attend the launch of a new magazine with the who's who of the fashion industry.

A cryptic Erika-mail the next morning pre-empted the arrival of director Jens Hertzum who announced the girls would be filming a television commercial for Gillette. The concept was that the girls would be getting ready for a typical night out, when they hear the song “venus” on the radio and then they begin singing into their razors, getting ready to party. Sam thought it was a bit ridiculous and Simmone was worried she was going to but her lips as she was singing.

Sam's problems with Allana led her to rescind her invitation to attend to the magazine launch party. Sam and Zoe decided the ethically Allana shouldn't be rewarded for breaking the rules of the competition. Allana seemed to handle the situation really well but was upset that this was all coming out on her birthday – and particularly that none of the girls even bothered to wish her a “Happy Birthday”/

A house meeting was called that afternoon to discuss Allana's breaking of the rules, and things turned ugly when the discussion got heated and very personal. Sam declared she didn't think Allana deserved to still be in the house and should have been eliminated the previous week. Each of the girls echoed Sam's sentiments commenting that the house would be a better place without Allana. They were upset that they were being punished for Allana's abuse of phone privileges and meeting up with her friends, which had resulted in phone call limitation and limited outings.

Allana thought it was fair enough the girls were angry with her for meeting up with her boyfriend, but also thought that given the right situation each of them would have done the same thing. She confessed to her boyfriend later that night that she was over being in the house and wanter to come home, even if it meant leaving the competition. Against her boyfriends advice she made the decision to leave the house.

The girls saw her decision to leave as a cop out, so she didn't have to face the music and be eliminated. Erika made an unscheduled visit to the house and questioned Allana's reason for leaving the house and her drive to become a model. She suggested it was deceitful of her to have entered the competition in the first place, is she wasn't prepared to stick it out. Allana stuck to her guns and left the competition of her own accord.

While all drama was happening at home, Sam, Zoe and Simmone went to the magazine launch where they mingled with all the models on the Sydney scene, designers and agents. Simmone was re-united with CLEO bachelor of the year contestant Jethro, whom she had gotten to know at an earlier challenge reward. A great night was had by all, and it seemed that Zoa lost track of time, getting home at 3am .

Erika-Mail summonsed the girls at Pioneer Studios at 7:30am the following morning for a photo shoot. As the girls were being made up it became clear that Zoe was feeling a little under the weather!

Photographer Sam Burridge and stylist Sara Smith introduced the star of the shoot, a bird-eating spider. The girls were horrified when they learned that in this photo shoot they were to be judged on their ability to maintain absolute composure, and to not display any fear or terror.

Sam went first and rather than interacting with the spider, she fell in some typical model poses. Chloe was fine once she found out she didn't have to actually touch the spider. Shannon 's fear made her hold her breath which was hard to work around, and Gemma just wasn't comfortable with her body.

Simmone fretted about what she would if the spider actually touched her and the bags under Zoe's eyes did not go unnoticed.

Erika-mail announced the elimination would be the following evening, which shocked the girls as they were hoping Allana's departure would leave the rst of them in the house for a longer period of time.

Simmone was assessed positively as there was no trace of terror on her face in the photo, even though she was horrified. Zoe was reprimanded for her late night antics and slowness on set. Sam was asked to be a little more versatile in her poses, as the “Sam-shoulder-squint” made it's way in to the shoot. Shannon was told she was strong and captivating. Chloe was told she should embrace acting as a skill that will help her career, and that her photo was gorgeous. Gemma was told that this wasn't the best shot of her.

The judged deliberated and when the girls walked back in Erika stood before the six of them with only five pictures. Erika called out the girls who would still be in the running to become Australia 's Next Top model, first Shannon , followed by Sam, Simmone, and Gemma. Then Chloe and Zoe were asked to step forward for their assessments. Zoe was told her decision to attend the social occasion and stay out all night the night before a beauty shoot affect her professional performance. Chloe was told it was a concern that she was not remotely interested in acting, which is considered essential in the modelling world.

Erika announced that due to Allana leaving the house both Chloe and Zoe were still in the running to be Australia 's Next Top Model.
