It would be impossible for the acorns that fell in the Autumn of the Trees life to grow as strong as the towering colossus that is the Tree legend. But, from Gordon Macphersons' "Wings" to Roy Campbells' "Chair" these musical experiments do provide a fascinating postscript to the story of The Trees.

What ever happened to Styx...

Campbell stepped out from behind his drum-kit in '92 to great success. He formed electro-country outfit "Chair" with "Boring" Al Corrigal, a long time Tree collaborator. Corrigal makes weird noises and so does Campbell. "It's all about pushing back the barriers of your consciousness" claims Campbell "...and pulling birds". Campbell lives at home with his parents.

What ever happened to Rat...

Constantly craving fame, Ewen has had numerous attempts at success since disbanding the Trees. These included Country & Westrin experiment "Canyon" and eighties mock-furniture outfit "Hepplewhite". More recently Ewen has enjoyed dissapointment with stadium rockers "She Said", "the best stadium rock band in the world without a stadium". Ewen is philosophical about his decision to split the Trees "Worst mistake of my life" he says. Ewen lives at home with his parents.

What ever happened to Specs...

"I view Gordon as the 'George Best' of music" ...Ewen.

Following several attempts at fame, including a brief spell as a stand up comic and a DJ on local radio, Macpherson withdrew from public life. He has not been seen alive since late '89, and even then he was not looking well. He is believed to have gone into hiding after Campbell referred to him as "Steam-boat Fatty". None of the band members are now in touch with him. Believed to be buried in his parents backyard.

What ever happened to Tombola...

Since the Trees split Tom has sufferred from bouts of depression and has not left his bedroom for five years. Sources close to him say he just sits their listening to The Jigsaw "over and over again". Tom still lives with his parents.
