A Note on My Personal Background and Qualifications and other Logistics

The spiritual dimension of my being opened up quite unexpectedly from the age of 25 (I am now 57) in various phases and caused me to totally reevaluate who I thought I was and what my purpose was for being here. I spent many years travelling and participating in workshops to facilitate the openings that  continued to happen.

I have spent most of my adult life in Germany and Japan working as a language teacher yet about 14 years ago it finally became clear to me that guiding others to find and feel stable in their essential being was going to be my main vocation. Thus, from 1989 to 1993 I qualified as Hypnotherapist and Polarity Therapist at the Heartwood Institute at Garberville, California, US. Subsequently, at the Living Water Centre, NSW, Australia, I trained and qualified as Transformational Therapist with focus on C.G.Jung approaches, such as  dream Work, Sandplay, Subpersonality work.

I also trained in Family Therapy, Inner Child Work  and Transactional Analysis. I have been in private practice in Tokyo since 1994. From 1995 to 1999 I led regular twice monthly Transpersonal Growth Groups in Tokyo. I have led many intensive (One or Two Day ) group  workshops on a variety of personal growth related topics. Since February, 2000 I have also taught 'The Release Technique' on 12 occasions. The latter is a non-therapy based teaching workshop that creates profound stress-reduction and self-discovery.

My practice is located at Takadanobaba 10 minutes from the JR and 7 minutes from the Tozai line or alternatively 2 minutes from Omokagebashi station on the Toei Arakawa tram (streetcar) line that leaves from JR Otsuka or Higashi-Ikebukuro on the Yurakucho Line. My sessions run for about 1 1/2 hours and the fee is 12,000 Yen. Please call or email me to book a session or to answer any specific questions you may have. Tel. 03-5285-2085.
