Maintenance

Our maintenance staff is available to assist you with concerns regarding your apartments. To place a work order, please click the "Maintenance Request" link to your left. Our maintenance teams work on a block system meaning that they address routine and preventative work orders in a set of buildings per day. In order for your work order to be entered in the weekly block, please submit your work order prior to 6:00pm the day before your building is scheduled. Urgent work orders such as plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, etc will be addressed immediately and will not be handled within the block system. Non-emergency requests will be completed between 8:30 and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

The routine maintenance schedule is as follows per week:

Pegasus Landing Block Schedule

Monday Buildings 1-6
Tuesday Buildings 7-12
Wednesday Buildings 13-19
Thursday Buildings 20-26
Friday Buildings 27-34
Quick Fixes

Before you call maintenance, try these easy fixes for common problems:

  • If your toilet is overflowing, close the cutoff valve below and behind the toilet bowl, and check if there is a clog which you can unplug. If there is not, call maintenance to fix the problem.
  • If your lights are out, you may have tripped a circuit breaker. Turn off the appliances wherever the power is out and flip the breaker panel switch for the room to "off", then to "on". If this does not solve the problem, turn the breaker back to "off" and call maintenance.
  • If your toilet is stopped up, there is a fee for maintenance to unclog it. It is much cheaper and faster for you if you buy a plunger (Eckerds carries them), and unplug it yourself.
Emergency Maintenance Guidelines

Emergency maintenance requests can be handled after regular business hours and on weekends if they present a danger to residents, guest and/or damage to property. To inquire about emergency maintenance services, please contact the RA on duty for your community. (See Important Numbers)

Examples of emergency maintenance requests include:

  • Fire
  • Lack of electricity
  • Broken or non-working doors, locks, windows
  • Lack of heat (when outside ambient temperature is below 50 degrees)
  • Lack of air conditioning (when outside ambient temperature is above 80 degrees)
  • Lack of water
  • Commode not functioning (when there is only one in an apartment)
  • Flooding/broken pipes
  • Refrigerator malfunctions (not cooling)
Lighting

Lighting at our community is an important part of our maintenance program. If you notice that lights are out, please notify your area office during business hours. Do not remove light bulbs or fixtures from outside lighting.
