Best QB Platform Game
2001 QB Gaming Gold Awards
For the first time in 2001, the QB Platform
was inducted to a high number of nominations and requests from the QB community
for such a category. So, the platform games nominated for this year's awards
are a mixture of some of QB's best classics, alongside some of the newer,
more distinct QB games of today.
The Nominees for Best QB Platform Game
are:
Raven: The Yoyo Commando (V Games)
It's not easy trying to defend the world
when all you're armed with is a long-range, plasma covered yoyo.
Little Pixy 2 (TMB)
Can the Little Pixy save Christmas? Only
if he can work his way around this workshop!
PromZone (SV Reanimator)
The search for the purple canisters through
this industrial complex is enigmatic but exciting.
Sonic Xtreme (QBasic Central)
Sonic shows his face Genesis-style for
the first time in a QB platformer.
Around the World (TMB Productions)
Mr. Wolf is a master of disguise, but
he'll need than that to recover the lost treasures of the world.
And the winner is...
Sonic Xtreme!
