Edward Cornwall 3-Dec-1815 - 25-May-1883 aged 67, died at Chinaman’s Flat, Timor, Victoria
Edward Cornwell was baptised in Dorking, Surrey, England. His parents were William John Cornwall (b. Abt 1781) and Elizabeth Ware (b. 5-Sep-1781). On 2-Aug-1835, Edward married Lucy Lucas (b. Abt 1816 - 20-Dec-1891). In England, they had a daughter Mary Ann (b. 1837) and son John (chr. 14 Apr 1839 - 5 Jul 1839). According to the 1841 Surrey Census (ref; HO 107/1081/6), Edward, Lucy and Mary Ann lived in Charts Lane in the Parish of Dorking, Surrey. Edward was an Agricutural Labourer.
After arriving in Australia 5 more chn were Christened - Elizabeth R Cornwell (1844-13-Jan-1853), John Cornwell (17-Sep-1846 - 19-Aug-1924), Edward Cornwell (27-Jul-1849 - 1914), John/James Lucas Cornwill (25-Nov-1851 - 11-Mar-1853) and Ann Elizabeth Cornwill (03-Nov-1853-?) registered 1854 #968 in Brighton.
