Dark Horse
(Holding its head high.)

Although Dark Horse releases over 20 titles every month, only about 6 of these are manga. However, all the titles tend to be rather good, and one non-manga title is, in fact, the brilliant Usagi Yojimbo. Although not strictly manga, Usagi Yojimbo was written by a Japanese chap - Stan Sakai (for an American audience).

The manga which Dark Horse is currently releasing includes:
Blade of the Immortal, a beautifully drawn manga revolving about killing 1000 people;
Oh My Goddess!, A heart-warming tale by Kosuke Fujishima;
Lone Wolf and Cub, a classic samurai-tale by Kazuo Koike and Goseki Fujishima;
Gunsmith Cats, a brilliant guns 'n' girls manga by Kenichi Sonoda;
and Super Manga Blast, my favourite anthology in the English language.

Dark Horse also releases 2 or 3 other graphic novels a month. Highlights include Akira; Ghost in the Shell; Blade of the Immortal; Gunsmith Cats; Usagi Yojimbo and Oh My Goddess!.

My favourite stuff from Dark Horse is probably Gunsmith Cats and Usagi Yojimbo.
