Hi I am Jacob Selig

I was born in Burlington VT and live in Fairfax VT with my mom. I have a cat named Foots whose favorite pastimes are sleeping and hunting. This is Foots doing her thing sleeping !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I play with a little league team and enjoy the game. This is me as I played for the Texas Rangers. I played all positions but my favorite position was catcher. Me and my brother like to watch our favorite team the Vermont Expos . YEAH go Expos!!!!!!! I also had a lot of fun playing soccer for the Sharks.

Last year (1997) my mom and brother Nick spent a week at Disney World during Disney's 25th Anniversary. We visited Blizzard Beach, Sea World, Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios. We got a lot of autographs from the Walt Disney characters whom we met and also got pictures taken with them. We got to ride on a lot of rides, especially Thunder Mountain and had seen a lot of shows. Also got to eat a lot of ice cream. There were several pools where we were staying so we had a lot of fun in the pool swimming and splashing after a day at the Disney World.

I had a very special event happen to me May 9, 1998. I received my very first Communion at my church "The Ascension" in Georgia Center VT. Several of my grandparents and my Aunt were here to help me celebrate this milestone in my life. We had a party the next day and a lot of friends came to help me celebrate my first communion. This is a picture of me on my first communion day.

On June 13, 1998 I crossed over from a Wolf Cub Scout to a Bear Cub Scout with a Gold Arrow.

I take piano lessons and had my first recital in April  1999. It was a great experience.

In June of 2000 I took a summer class  called Summer Stage. We took a week of work to put together a musical presentation which we played for the public. Everyone said that we did a great job since we only had a week to get a group of strangers together to perform the musical. I played a part in the Mexican portion of the musical.
