Violence Against Women
Rape Culture
This film dicusses feminist theoretical approach to violence against women. It includes voices from feminist activists, and although the movie references are outdated, the issues discussed are still relevant. The movie does not depict scenes of graphic sexual violence. Produced by Cambridge Documentary Films (1983).

To Have and To Hold
This documentary examines abuse of women by men through the man's experience. It includes interviews of men who have assaulted their wives and partners and explores the personal and societal attitudes that lead men to violence and condone violence against women in society. Also, examines the attitude changes necessary to stop violent behavior. Produced by New Day Films.

Breaking the Silence, A Film on Incest and the Sexual Abuse of Children
An award winning documentary on incest and child sexual abuse. Includes personal stories told by survivors and their families. Illustrates how incest and abuse destroys trust and limits the lives of its survivors. This film celebrates survivors on the journey to reclaiming their lives. Produced by New Day Films.

Date Rape
A documentary-drama that explores the story of rape from the rape to the investigation. All of the professionals are real with the other roles begin played by actors. This film is a great and realistic representation of the consequences of rape emotionally and structurally.

Ending Domestic Violence: Healing the Family
A victims' rights advocate tells the story of her 18-month abusive marriage in which she was almost killed and her advocacy with a particular woman. There are scenes in court hearings and emotional talks between the advocate and the victim.

Male Violence: A Room Full of Men
A film about three men who have a history of abuse, but who have joined a program to help them stop being abusive. Many issues of authority and control as well as stereotypes are addressed throughout this film.
