Women and Race
Seoul II Soul (Hak J. Chang)
25 minutes
This film chronicles the lives of an African American Korean war veteran, his Vietnamese wife, and their three children. It examines discrimination, miscommunication, and growing up bi-racial.

Hatred (Mitzi Golman)
1996, 55 minutes
A documentary that examines how hatred on a personal level translates into hatred on a national level. She examines cultures all over the world, including the tension between African Americans and Jews in the United States.

Skin Deep: The Science of Race (Canadian Broadcasting Company)
60 minutes
This film addresses the question of whether or not there is a genetic definition of race, or whether the basis of prejudice is only "skin deep". The film also discusses how skin color defines our own self image and our perceptions of others.

None of the Above (Erika Surat Andersen, 1993)
23 minutes
The film is a documentary about people of mixed racial heritage and their search for identity and community in a society obsessed with classification of race.

Keeping the Door Open: Why Women Should Support Affirmative (Equal Rights Advocates)
The film consists of personal reports of both white and black women from a variety of professions crediting Affirmative Action for their success in the job market.
