Tools and materials, Science, Arts

A quick list of skills would include welding, construction, electricity installation,  carpentry and woodworking, fiberglass construction and repair, ferrocement, motor maintenance and repair, vehicle driving (cars, motorboats, sailboats), boat design and construction, cooking, many diverse industrial processes, especially in food technology, photo lab processing, sewing, etc.

I have no desire to dedicate myself full time to any of these, but they do always come in handy for small repairs and special projects.

Science
A long time astronomy hobbyist, I’ve developed some interest in many other sciences, having at times taught and done research in several, most especially Organic Chemistry, which left me with skills in laboratory analysis procedures.
I am also knowledgeable in Biology, Geology, Ecology (having taught them at some moment), and basic veterinary skills and animal husbandry (been a sheep farmer)

Arts
Being the son of an internationally known artist, Yolanda Rivas de Ploskonka, since very young I was able to experiment with all sorts of media and artistic expression.

My interest for technology has enabled me to develop skills not only in the artistic media itself, but in associated processes. Thus at least once I was able to make a tapestry with wool from sheep I had raised myself, shorn, dyed (with natural dyes), made my own yarn and weave.
