Subject: Guenthers missed at Trinity

Comments:
I am afraid that we missed them at the Trinity River Challenge this past Saturday. I know that they would have done great. Maybe the Junior Water Safari or the Ironworks Sprints or the Come and Take it or the State Sprint Championships or the Dickinson ayou brawl. I think that there is even a Pecan Fest race still to go this year. We are blessed to have so many events close to home.

Mr. Deviny, I'm sorry if my previous post was ambiguous. Tammy and Paul didn't own a canoe until they bought one over the net in late July. They didn't take delivery until August. Thats the reason you haven't seen "THE MIGHTY GUENTHERS" at T.C.R.A. races. Had you showed up at the nationals I'm sure you would have had a short look at there stern.

OUTRIGGER CANOE / SURF SKI - RADICAL NEW DESIGN - AUSTRALIA *********************************************************** Hi, I'm Wil - a native New Zealander living in Australia. I have just completed the protoype of my new canoe - "The Chop". I believe I have made a 'QUANTUM LEAP" in canoe design. I would love to hear from any paddlers / clubs etc out there who might be ab e to give me some feedback before I 'launch'. If you would be interested in finding out more about what I consider to be a revolution in surf ski / outrigger canoe 'performance improvement' - then please contact me by email in Australia.

I know this sounds crazy, but I'd like to find a reasonably strong paddler (preparing for the safari?) who would be interested in paddling the San Marcos and most, if not all, of the Guadalupe between Christmas and New Year's. The weather could be cold a d I would like to camp out. If we have the resources, maybe someone could follow with a "sag wagon" with food and refreshments (?). I would like a good workout, but I also want to get a good look at the river (and hopefully have some fun too!). My home phone is (409) 693-0676. Merry Christmas fellow paddlers!!

We have about a dozen olympic ICF kayaks up to a K-4. We work with adults and chil ren starting age 10. This is a great sport for developing speed, endurance and upper body strength. It is a good alternate spring and summer sport for football, wrestling and basketball as well. Kayaking is also excellent fitness and cardiovascular tra ning for adults. If you do not want to race, we can still use paddler help for watching the youngsters while they are practicing.
