Deed 50 Acres March 22nd, 1805             

                                State of South Carolina.  This Indenture made this 23rd day of January one thousand seven hundred & ninety Six between William Bratcher of Ninety Six District and Laurens County Farmer of the one part and Drury Boyce (Melter) of the Same place of the other part, Witnefseth that him the said William Bratcher for and in consideration of the Sum of Nineteen pounds Sterling money of the State afsigned to him in hand paid at or before the sealing and Delivering of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath Granted bargained sold and Aliened remised released and confirmed to the said Drury Boyce in his actual pofsefsion now being by Virtue of the bargain and Sail to him thereof made for one whole year by indenture of lease bearing date and the day next before the date hereof and by the Virtue and force of the Statute for Transferring of uses unto and to his heirs and afsigns forever a certain tract of Land Situate lying and being in Ninety Six District and Laurens County on both sides of a Small branch called bulitt branch beginning on a black oak & Running thence & along William Bratchers Jrs line to the original line and corner on a pine and thenceN on the original line to a black oak corner and thence running a west course to a post oak corner on the original line and thence Sailing the original line to the Beginning Containing fifty acres more or lefs and is part of a tract of Land originally granted unto the said William Bratcher Senr by his Excellency Charles Pinckney the then governor bearing date the fifth day of March Seventeen hundred and ninety two together with all and Singular the Said tract of Fifty acres of Land Lying and being on said branch the any wells water water courses Easements profits Commodities advantages emoluments hereditaments and appurtenances Whatsoever to the said lands belonging or in anywise appurtaining and the reversion and reversions .......... rents issues and profits thereof and also all the estate rights title pofsefsion property Claim and ...... whatsoever either in Law or Equity of the said William Bratcher of into or out of the said premises to have and to hold the said tract of land be the same more ore lefs hereby granted and released with their appurtenances unto the said Drury Boyce his heirs and afsigns forever and the said William Bratcher himself his heirs and afsigns doth ............................................ ................................... } Be it remembered that on the 18th day of March 1805 personally came and appeared Thomas
Grayden who being duly sworn on his said oath Saith that he was present & did see William Bratcher Sign Seal and as his act and deed deliver the within release to and for the use and purposes therein mentioned and did also see Thomas Gregory subscribe his name thereto as a witnefs iwth himself Sworn to and Subscribed before me the day and year above written
