Bunker's Hideout - A Cavy Place
Cleaning the Ears
Your cavy's ears must be checked regularly.  There should be no dust or debris.  Remove it from the ear by gently wiping it with a tissue.  Never, no matter what the situation may be, use a cotton swab.  If the ears show brown, smelly deposits, ear mites are probably present. Your cavy might already show the typical symtom of carrying is head in a tilted position.  Consult your veterinarian immediately.
