The Carroll Community Twirlers was started in 1997 by Kellye Perkins with ten baton students. In four years, the team has grown to include four groups from ages seven to seventeen. The three of the origional ten students are still with the team. (All three are assistansts, and CHS Tiger Twirlers.) Sandy Hunter is the current coach of the teams. The teams do various performances in the Carroll area including Kid's Summerfest, and the Carroll Band Day Parade, as well as compatitions in the midwest. Lessons are on Monday nights at Rene's Dance Studio.
