A friend of mine once said "If you're from Iowa, you're either a hick or a hick in denial." And I must admit that I'm proud to be a small town cow tippn' country farm girl, as well as an Iowa hick. Don't believe you're a hick? Check out the list. (You know you're an Iowan if...)
Iowa life is pretty boring for us teenagers, and some of us have resorted to annoying people in order to have a little fun. This is where cow tipping was invented. But to tell you the truth, I've never tipped a cow in my whole entire life and I don't know anyone else who has. In this area, cows are no fun anyways. (They sleep laying down.) I've heard stories (myths, legends...) about people painting sheep and putting clothes off of the clothes line on them, but I don't know that for a fact. The things you do in Iowa when you're bored!
Duct tape: the handiman's secret weapon. It's a favorite tool in Iowa, and we have a hundred and one uses for it. Remember, in the words of Red Green "If she doesn't find you handsmoe, she should at least find you handy."
