A very nice tea room in the heart of old Hampton, less than a block from St. Johns Church and the Air and Space Museum, serving local favorites for lunch after the fashion of the colonial menu. On a recent visit, to this old haunt of mine, I enjoyed the Londoner, a sumptuous sampling of Blue crab soup, Virginia ham biscuit, fruit salad and choice of desert. Yes, it is very much like the recommended Chickohominy House, but in my opinion the food is of better quality. The casual yet superb, meals run from about $6 to $10 for lunch
