A fine restaurant of gourmet reputation with a delightful outdoor cafe. We often relax here for an autumn or spring lunch or early dinner out of doors. The meals are unusual and exciting. I must admit that at first some of the entrees seemed a little to exciting for my conservative palette, but I soon discovered that the chefs had an uncanny ability to combine seemingly unlikely ingredients into wonderfully delicious combinations. So don't let the more unusual specials dissuade you from enjoying a marvelous meal in pleasant colonial surroundings. The casual meals run from about $6 to $15 for lunch and lite dinner in the cafe, and higher for specialties and formal meals inside.
