Path of the Warrior

The Warrior is the strong arm of the Kingdom. He prefers to meet his enemy face to face in melee combat and will rarely be seen with a ranged weapon in hand. Besides a well armored Knight, the Warrior is one of few whom can stand toe to toe with large beasts and take the brunt of battle, making his company a must have for the ranged fighters and wizards. His primary asset is his weapon, be it a war mace, broadsword and shield, spear or halberd. Following a close second is his friendship with fellow soldiers. They eat, sleep, drink, go to battle, tell stories and die by one another's side. His abilities and commodore with his peers have no equal. His rank is nothing spectacular and rarely will he see great wealth or fame. However, his presence is rarely taken for granted by other members and leaders of the Kingdom alike. The warrior's personality amongst their ranks varies as much as the array of weaponry. One warrior may posses Knight like chivalry, where another stands on the line of being rouge. Though fame and fortune are scarce for a warrior, his versatility is nearly free of limitability. On the battlefield, an experienced warrior is a force to be reckoned with. Indeed the path of the Warrior is a long and highly enjoyable journey.

Do not let the normality of the warrior class fool you because there is not a battle or hunt a group of adventures will go on where a warrior is not needed and wanted. The warrior class can be one of the most entertaining paths to choose for your character. The large array of skills, weapons and armor allowed make it possible for the player to periodically change styles when becoming bored. As the warrior progresses in experience he will become that more defined and powerful with his skills. The level of skills he has attained and the amount of abilities he is able to use reflects this, i.e. legendary swordsmanship and the bushido skills. If you character is already advanced in skills and you are starting out in the guild please do your best to mask his abilities. Allow your character to go through the steps of advancement. There are certain situations where a new member may be placed in an advanced rank. This is entirely to the discretion of the King. The role-play is what is important and following the guidelines set out will help you follow the correct path.
